first week of summer work almost done. not too bad. work at the office is pretty simple. the other girl doing what i do is switching jobs to do something for her major and that's going to leave me the sole person in my position. they asked if i wanted to come in earlier for some extra work. i said yes eventhough i'm pretty content not having to go to work till 1. now it's gonna be much earlier, but only three days a week. more moneys i guess. so the movie The Office....absolutely true. i can totally pick out characters in this place and it's hilarious. the redbarn is pretty sweet. i work the desk taking money for people coming to climb. rock climbers are chill people. i gots to take some pictures.

going to the public market this weekend again. it's this HUGE farmer's market with lots of good stuff. it's all about the breakfast empanadas and the coffee lady.

so it's the end of spring quarter. finals week is tomorrow. i only have one more final though and it's a meeting with my photo teacher to discuss my grade so it's not a big deal in terms of printing things, because i have everything already. niice. first time ever not stressed and burned out at the end of a quarter.

my roommate is moving her stuff out. the apartment looks so weird without the sweet couch. i spray painted a tv white for a photo and it's now where the old tv used to be. too bad it doesn't work.

please ignore the parts where it got scratched bring it back from the studio.

so i'm staying in rochester this summer. working two jobs and taking a class in july. one job is in one of the financial offices on campus and other is at this rock climbing barn which is hella sweet. gonna get awesome at rock climbing. forearms of steel.

still hunting for a roomie for next year.

sooo many words. i'm trying to learn italian now. i thought i was done with vocab in high school, now let's throw a cappucino and vespa into the mix. the sis is now in england for the week. she's off with her drama class or something from school. supposedly it snowed today. oh i'm so grateful for 50 degrees and sunny..

things are still sweet with the boo. gonna be roomies this summer. wooo cheaper rent.

i applied for an internship with Adobe that i didn't get. it would have been nice though. good pay, work from home. someone else did better on the bit of test to work on they sent out to the applicants. well maybe i'll work in an office on campus and in the barnes and noble they are building just off campus. that would be sweet. I WANT TO GET A BARTENDING LISCENCE. why so much money for classes??

so my roommate is moving out. yet another one. i love this girl but it sucks. i hate having to keep finding someone. i've been quite lucky with the ones i have, but this time i'd like to actually know the person first. i have an awesome friend who would be perfect, it's just her guy friend that she is supposed to be moving in with is guilt tripping her for thinking about moving in with me. bahhhhh. not cool. so yes i'm technically stealing her from him but hey, when i can produce a list a year long of reasons why it would be better for everyone in the situation for her to live with me and bad to live with him, i fight till my voice is heard. he's just being whiny...

i have the wonderful ability to be unaffected by the whine. the puppy dog look. the sad eyes. the hurt front. don't pull that shit on me now.

i've been so lazy lately with photo recently. just not into the projects i'm being given. they seem to get in the way most of the time. i need to not be lazy. just do ittttt. all i really want to do right now is my white on white personal project. random objects. white spray paint. white seamless. bam...

oh the spray booth here is killer. i'm gonna get sweet at graffiti this summer. or stenciling. either way. it'll happen

back in rochacha. was pretty much a bum this break and hung out with the fam. lauren should be up here soon for a bit of awesome fun time. gotta show the girl the ropes. on the flight up here i from detroit i ended up sitting next to this guy who goes to my school who is ukrainian yet lives in tokyo. whaa? he was supa cute too. maybe this one won't be just a single serving friend haha.

i finished the scarf for jake in hawaii! finally finished something jeeze. next is a hat for my friend tito. i'm pretty confident that this one will get finished too. i need to start selling stuff.

aye aye aye. i wish things worked out as smoothly as i see them in my head. all my photos would be shot. film processed and exposed correctly. equipment turned in on time. everything scanned and/or post processed and printed. all by sunday. i hope. we'll see.

tested for rank in aikido today. now an official orange belt!

two weeks till i go home. so excited. can't wait to see people. everyone is getting jumped so beware

things are getting interesting

week 7 i think? maybe week 6 into the quarter. photo expo in nyc is next weekend and i'm leaving thursday with mikey. staying with friends in brooklyn. this trip is gonna be siick. party in the city!!! got a ticket to see bright eyes in november. shut up you know he's sexy. lots of work though. tired of spending 10+ hrs in the studio. still have to scan shit so i can post! ahhhhh

thanksgiving break is coming up. two weeks home starting the 18th of november. it's gonna be nice.

i got a bike!! her name's Olivia and she's bright teal green. she's a super retro Columbia and amazing. Went to the apple festival in Hilton and had some sweet food. who knew apple cider slushies could be so tasty. anyways we stopped at a barn sale on the way back and there was olivia waiting for me. now i won't have to wait for the bus. sweeet.

sum 41 played last night on campus and their opener Monty are I ended up chillin, going around with us to parties. they were pretty nice and very mannerly. evidently they went to get some garbage plates.. i hope that turned out well cause i left before that and nick taho's is in the sketchy side of downtown.

oh my friend got the set list from metric and we talked to the bass player outside and he signed it. it was awesome. i got this screen printed poster that is sweet. framing it oh yeah

arrgh. gonna be in the studios all day tomorrow shooting my freakin dollar store daydream project. i need to scan some of this work so i can post stuff. i need to do a lot of stuff.

man working closing shifts suckkkk. but i'm getting a killer check so it's all good. they are extending the hours of the store till 2am. fuck that! hell no i'm not working till 2 in the morning. i prefer to utilize that time in a more appropriate way.....we won't go into that :)

classes start this monday so gotta get books sometime. i'm stoked about my photo teacher. he's pretty awesome and is the man when it comes to lighting, which just so happens to be what we are learning. this photo is gonna suck the money right out of me cause i think we are using view cameras most of the time and film is not cheap. hopefully we'll use 4x5. those are sweet but freakin heavy.

i need a car, or a bike, but preferably a car. bumming rides is a bit more difficult these days when everyone is somewhere different.

Herman the orchid looks like he's gonna bloom another flower. This is promising. I just hope he survives the cold. The weather is so nice here! ahh it's like 70s. such a relief from 105. nights are chilly though

all moved into the new apartment at school. it's pretty awesome. sooooo much bigger than i thought it would be. we got some furniture from target that had a million pieces to assemble. it was crazy. i now am caretaker for a pink zebra lookin orchid named Herman. he sends his best wishes.

there are so many freakin boxes! i swear i have too much shit. it took a couple of days for my mattress to arrive so i was couchin it for a bit. i didn't realize the couch was a fold out the first night lol.

last night was 50 cent movie night at the dollar theater. a million of us went to see Die Hard 4 and it was amazing. the lunar eclipse was this morning, but i didn't catch it.

hey yo. i'm back.from outerspace. and busting into an aretha franklin song. oh my

so i've been away a bit. that seems to be all i do, but it's cool. i like going places. recently i was living in hawaii for a month. it was probably one of the best things i've done so far. i learned to surf! met some amazing people and came back with great photos. earlier this summer i went to lake taho with the family. that's another really beautiful place. the air is so clean. this winter i'm gonna try and get someone to teach me how to snowboard so i can go back sometime in their winter. i'm back home till near the end of august, then back north for school. i miss people there, but at the same time i feel like i never get to see my home friends anymore so i'm content with being here for now.

went to the SG show the other night with sarah! it was really great and everyone did an kickass job. sarah screwdriver scored some sick photos that must be viewed as much as possible by anyone and everyone. got to see people i've been missing and that's always a good time.

WOAH IT HAS BEEN A LOOONG TIME SINCE I UPDATED THIS THING. sorry, i blame myspace. well i am in florida right now. pretty close to the bottom of it, well away from orlando thank goodness. it is just a little family trip. you know, typical vacation. i finally got some internet on my laptop, so i figured i would celebrate by updating this thing. i kinda miss it. pre-myspace times. gotta love 'em. so i have to take this math placement test sometime online and after looking through the practice questions i realized that the last year of my high school career should have included some kind of math that actually benefits my future. oh well, so what if i totally forgot anything useful. i will figure it out. i don't think it has quite hit me that i am out of high school. i am seriously going to miss everyone like crazy. 80% of everyone will probably be a couple hours away from each other but for me try 12-13. to everyone i became aquainted with and even shared some friendship, thanks and i love you. multiply that times one million and infinity for everyone else who i got to hang with and become good friends. life isn't complete without friends and i have certainly been lucky to know some good ones. the phrase "let's hang out sometime this summer" gets thrown around a lot, but i hope that i really do get to see you guys a bunch more before i leave.

so i talked to tim at starbucks who hires people. the chance is slim of getting a spot there but it's not nonexistant. keeping my fingers crossed. i know some people are going to rag on me bc it's starbucks but hey money is money. sorry if i just happen to be working for a corporate giant. get over it.
